Meet Holli

Long before I became The Nutritional Stylist, holistic health, cooking and alternative medicine were my secret passions.

But despite my vast collection of books on raw food, organic farming, mind-body balance, nutritional theories — and every diet book imaginable — I spent a good part of my adult life slumped in a painful cycle of searing migraines, endless allergies, full-body inflammation, a compromised immune system, and agonizing miscarriages. I was one sick, sad stylista. And no amount of Chanel handbags could heal what ailed me.

I had stepped away from an executive-level career in high fashion — grooving and shaking as a V.P. for Chanel and before that a Senior Buyer for Tiffany & Co. —  and tearfully left my city-love, NYC, only to find that my contained symptoms worsened once I hit my dream life with Mr. Right.  (see the full story here in a feature article in MORE magazine)

Several years later, I devoted myself to a sequence of systematic re-education: culinary school, nutritional training…and lots of trial and error. Piece by piece, meal by meal, I learned to attune to my body’s natural signals, and respond with loving attention.

I wish I could tell you that my transformation was swift and sudden. It wasn’t.

Designing a Nutritional Style that truly suits your life takes time, persistence, and yeah — passion. But the gorgeous news is that you’ll look (and feel) more vibrant, with every step.

Take it from someone who’s hit rock-bottom, and then the bottom beneath that – it’s all uphill from here, darling.

Pack light + lean, and let’s keep striding, together.

Yours, for the journey to wellness,

With much love,

Holli

I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Certified Natural Health Professional, and I’m currently studying to become a Naturopathic Doctor.  I am also a Myers Briggs Certified Practitioner.

I studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, studying dietary theories, contemporary health issues and topics, and Eastern and Western nutrition with some of the top professionals in the Nutrition field, such as Dr. David Katz of Yale University, (see Dr. Katz’s endorsement of my work on my professional testimonial page), Dr. Mark Hyman, and Deepak Chopra.

I  attended the Natural Gourmet Cooking School in New York City, as part of their public program, and indulged my love of cooking and the kitchen – while also learning and becoming a raw food chef.
